cfactor Works Inc. in the Community

We recognize the importance of community, so we actively support a number of great organizations dedicated to improving the communities in which we live. These groups include: Denny Carr’s Secret Santa, The Arthritis Society, Hope Cancer Help Center, and the United Way.

Denny Carr’s Secret Santa is a Saskatoon based organization that is the brain child of long time Saskatoon broadcaster Denny Carr. It was his dream that every child in Saskatoon would receive at least one new toy at Christmas. Denny became the driving force behind an annual drive that brings smiles to thousands of children. cfactor Works Inc. (cfactor) and its employees take great pleasure in volunteering their time and raising money to help support this very worthwhile cause.

Joints in Motion is a key fundraiser for The Arthritis society. Joints in Motion provides athletes with the support and training that they need to complete the grueling 26.2 mile marathon. In return, the athletes raise money on behalf of someone with arthritis. The money raised goes towards the arthritis research at Canada’s 16 medical schools.

The Hope Cancer Help Centre in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan offers recently diagnosed cancer patients with the support and resources that might not otherwise be available. cfactor is proud to support the Centre by creating a donations receipt tracking software application in support of the Centre’s key fundraising event – The Race For Recovery.

The United Way operates in communities around Canada and throughout the world. They provide support and funding for a wide variety of community organizations designed to help those who are less fortunate. cfactor is proud to be recognized as a Community Campaign Award Winner for our work with the United Way.

In addition to our community giving programs, we also enjoy participating in various team events that contribute to a bigger charitable goal.
